Περιγραφή Θέσης: Yacht Accountant (Investments) – Limassol Advance Career, on behalf of our client, an Investments Firm, is looking to recruit a Yacht Accountant;
Accounting and bookkeeping.
Responsible for administration, accounting, collection and payment of onboard monies. Working with management to ensure timely processing of budgets, invoices, payments, credit card and expense reconciliations.
Preparation of monthly financial accounts, review and analysis compared to budget.
Preparation of funding requests.
Review and process the vessel invoices in respect of purchases and ensure that these adhere to budget and communicate with the Captain for the payment of significant invoices.
Working with management to ensure smooth, efficient management of financial matters and purchasing.
Communication with onboard staff and third parties i.e. vendors.
Qualifications: A minimum of 2 year’s solid bookkeeping experience. A high fluency in English. Strong demonstrable work experience in financial management with particular skill in the area of cost control. Good communication and organisation skills. Ability to work well under stressful situations. Critical thinking. Flexible i.e with learning new systems. Competent IT skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package, knowledge of specialised accounting software i.e. SAP Experience in Shipping (particularly with vessel/passenger ship accounting) will be considered an advantage. Occasional travel may be required. Benefits: An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
