The Centre of Modern Languages of the University of Nicosia invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the field of teaching German beginning in Fall Semester 2018.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND BENEFITS
Responsibilities include teaching German language courses (mainly) through distance learning developing/ teaching material preparing and marking examination papers
Compensation will depend on qualifications and experience.
Required Education Applicants should hold a BA and an MA in an area related to German language (e.g. Germanistik, DaF etc.) from an accredited university. speak German at the level of a native/near-native speaker have a good command of English have a teaching experience in the area of adult education (German, preferably (but not necessarily) at a university level). Prior university teaching experience (German language teaching) will be considered an advantage. Core Skills and demonstrated Experience Good computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a team and collaborate with the rest of the team members Willingness to attend training seminars Application Procedure.
